The official mAadhaar app for updates on Aadhar information from home, The Unique Identification Authority of India has published the new mAadhaar with the intention of reaching huge numbers of smartphone users. Aadhaar holders can carry their Aadhaar information in the form of a soft copy rather than carrying a physical copy around all the time thanks to the App's assortment of Aadhaar services and customizable sections. 

 The major components of mAadhaar have been: Multilingual: The menu, button labels, and form fields are available in English as well as in 12 Indian languages to ensure that the Aadhaar Services are accessible to citizens of India who speak different languages (Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu). How to use the lock features?

By locking biometrics data, biometric locking and unlocking secures biometric authentication. Once a resident activates the biometric locking system, it stays activated until the Aadhaar holder decides to unlock it (temporarily) or disable the locking system. 

Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) creation is a temporary password that can be used in place of SMS-based OTP. 


After a successful update request has been fulfilled, the Aadhaar profile data will be updated. 

Holders of Aadhaar numbers can share their password-protected eKYC or QR codes with other Aadhaar users for secure, paperless verification. 

 Aadhaar holders have the option to add up to three profiles (with the same registered mobile number) to their profile area.

 How to get my Aadhaar?

All phases of the Aadhaar Card life cycle, including enrollment, authentication, and administration, are currently under the control of the UIDAI.
